American Cyber, Inc.’s goal is to obtain contracts that better support the lives of U.S. citizens, especially those of veterans and active-duty military members.
Words of Wisdom: “A company, big or small, must always take excellent care of its employees. This produces a strong desire for employees to put forth their best efforts to serve their customers.”
One example of this is American Cyber’s support of Medical Communications for Combat Casualty Care (MC4). “Support efforts include preparing deployed medical units with the best resources and providing military members with the most secure and protected electronic health records,” says Gary Winkler, president of American Cyber. “Because of American Cyber’s efforts to make these records as secure as possible, the lives and overall welfare of millions of military personnel and their families are significantly improved.”
As a platform for giving back to the community, American Cyber has mentored a wide variety of groups, organizations and individuals. For example, vice president of operations Laurie Freeman is an active member of the Technology Council of Maryland, where she has helped in the effort to grow technology industries in the area. In addition, Winkler has worked to ensure that American Cyber supports programs to help soldiers get back on their feet after returning home from combat. For example, American Cyber is a supporter of Wounded Warrior Project.
