“We are solutions architects and researchers that assess our clients’ needs, goals and environment to develop the best solutions for [them],” says Jason Peay, CEO of VersaTech, Inc. “Our solutions help our clients become more efficient.”
Words of Wisdom: “We really make sure the customer’s mission is more important than anything else for our company.”
VersaTech places great emphasis on helping its employees reach their fullest potential, says Peay. For example, one team member was brought on to assist one of VersaTech’s executives, and has now moved up to being a project manager on a Department of Transportation (DoT) project. In addition, VersaTech is working with two new government contracting companies on helping them get established in the federal government marketplace.
VersaTech has worked with the DoT on its 5-Star Safety Ratings, which measure the crashworthiness and rollover safety for vehicles. “People depend on those ratings when it comes to which cars are safer than others,” says Peay. “We don’t take lightly the se and seriousness of the work that we’re doing [because] lives are at stake.” In addition, VersaTech has worked on a portal that helps the public submit information about outbreaks of illness related to the use of products. Another part of the company’s work has to do with improving patient care in hospitals.
