Innovative Resources for Independence

Innovative Resources for Independence (IRI) was founded by families looking for a way to enhance the lives of their children by creating supports for individuals with developmental disabilities. The nonprofit approaches supporting its internal staff with the same enthusiasm as those it serves. Because IRI recognizes the diverse needs of employees at different stages of their lives, the organization crafted a benefits package that would be flexible enough to provide for every employee. The nonprofit also gives back to its employees through celebrations, but most importantly, IRI aims to recognize hard work. “While parties and awards are exciting and fun, the thing that sustains our healthy and vibrant culture is simply acknowledging someone’s ‘job well done,’” says Raymond J. DeNatale.

The way we create and maintain our culture is through the improvement of our skills, our successes using innovative technologies, thinking outside the box, and making sure that every person who works at IRI knows how valuable they are. I think that is what makes IRI a fun and successful place to work.”
