Ingenicomm, Inc.’s structure is flat, without multiple hierarchical layers above each employee. Different employees act as leaders on different projects so that each employee has the opportunity to both lead and support. This approach was designed to not only help employees grow professionally, but also to encourage camaraderie and flexibility, says Amit Puri. One group of employees created an Ingenicomm corporate crest to represent the company’s vision and its role. The crest includes the company’s three primary markets — defense, civil space and intelligence — as well as shared values like passion, innovation and boldness.
